Terms of Service

CarLotConnect is a software platform that lets automotive dealerships list vehicle inventory and connect with customers. We are a technology provider, not a party to any vehicle sale — every transaction, and every representation about a vehicle’s condition, history or price, is the listing dealer’s own responsibility.

You must provide accurate information when registering and keep your login credentials confidential. You’re responsible for all activity under your account. A free account may list up to 2 active vehicles; a paid subscription removes that limit and unlocks additional features described on the pricing page.

• Listings must be accurate — don’t misrepresent a vehicle’s condition, mileage, history, or price.
• Only upload photos you own or have the source dealer’s permission to use. The photo-sourcing tool exists for the case where another dealer has agreed you can reuse their photos while a car is in transit — it isn’t a licence to take anyone else’s photos without asking.
• You’re responsible for your own compliance with any applicable dealer-licensing regulator, consumer protection law, and Canada’s Anti-Spam Legislation for any marketing messages you send through or because of the platform.

Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring basis and renew automatically until cancelled. See our Refund Policy for what happens when you cancel.

No fraudulent listings, no attempts to circumvent plan limits through duplicate accounts, no scraping the platform, no uploading unlawful content, and no using the platform to harass a customer or another dealer.

You keep ownership of the photos and listing content you upload; you grant us a licence to host, display and transmit it as needed to operate the service, including sending it to a marketplace feed you’ve connected or to an AI feature you’ve triggered. CarLotConnect’s own software, design and branding remain ours.

The platform is provided “as is.” We don’t warrant that a listing is accurate, that a vehicle’s history or condition is as described, or that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free. AI-generated suggestions are a starting draft a dealer must review before publishing — we don’t warrant their accuracy.

To the extent permitted by law, CarLotConnect is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from use of the platform, including a dispute between a dealer and a customer over a vehicle sale.

Either party may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or terminate an account for a breach of these terms, including fraudulent listings or abuse of other users.

These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable in it.
